Hear the AUDIO version of any Article! Copy and Paste to Text To Speech Reader. I like to listen while I do chores, drive, rest, etc. Or use Microsoft’s Narrator, or download a reader. Proofreading is easier with a “text to speech reader.” It will catch mistakes like “personnel” instead of “personal,” and “test” instead of “text.”

An outside expert may not be the best way to train your own team. Instead, ask questions every few minutes or say in the beginning, “I will ask four of you to explain (or summarize) one of these new techniques. Anyone can suggest improvements.” A powerful training technique is to summarize at the end, let the listeners do the summarizing. The audience will pay close attention and will remember!
Before audience participation, I often have a break long enough for attendees to think about and discuss the issues. Better yet: break into small groups to discuss one, some, or all the issues; then have a group spokesperson present their conclusions to the whole group.
